Tuesday Thinking
It’s early on a Tuesday morning here in south central Texas. It’s also very warm with a temp right now of 77 degrees. It will be heading up to 100 degrees today or very near it. We have virtually no chance of rain. So again it will be a very hot day and we will stay dry.
I do have some good news. The guy I was writing the screenplay for is going to meet with me today right near here. I had not heard from him in several months. So we can get back to writing. I have a screenplay pretty much finished. He has some changes he has wanted to make. So maybe we can finish this first screenplay and get started on a second one. I am ready to write.
We should get out economic stimulus check by Friday. That will be nice. It’s also a joke. If our President and Congress wants to help the economy and us there are better ways to do it than giving the small amount of money back that they are giving. Why not make the rebate $2500 instead of $600. It’s all for show by the government. As usual no substance. I will take the $600 though. My wife and I will get $1500 in total. We have a few things in mind!!
There will be work in a few hours. I am having a hard time reading the deal at work. We seem to be getting busier in the survey section while not being too busy in our civil sections. We have had a lot of people quit. I don’t know if the attrition rate is what the company needs or not. I wish they would tell us that. If they are going to layoff people I would hope they would at least give us some kinds of heads up. I guess the way to handle that now is to always be ready for it. Just be prepared. I think we are doing better though and things are going to pick up some.
I am a little late this morning. So I will wrap this writing up and start to do my usual morning stuff. More later!!
