Thursday Time
It is Thursday here in San Antonio and it’s going to be a great day. I just feel it in my bones for some reason.
We had big time chance for rain yesterday, but the stuff never reached the city. That was so disappointing. It was the first real chance for rain we had in several months. I don’t think there is any in sight for the foreseeable future.
That does not bode well for my garden and yard. We are going to get cut down to once a week watering and that will just not cut it for my plants. If it’s going to be 100 degrees watering them once a week won’t do much good. I have them mulched pretty well so maybe they can survive once the restrictions begin. I don’t think my tomatoes and such will bear much fruit. They will be too busy just trying to survive. We will see how it all goes down.
I did not meet with the producer about our screenplay last night. The guy did not show up at the Starbucks I was at. That is not big deal. He’s kind of scatterbrained a bit and he may have gone to another Starbucks. I looked at my e-mails and I was at the correct Starbucks. I am getting turned off by the whole deal as time goes on. If the production company wants my writing they will have to get back with me big time. This is causing too many problems for me. I will wait and see if the guy contacts me. That might be several more months.
I have not heard from the guy with the football team. I need to contact him I guess. They are busy and I want to help, but the team has to get going by hiring people and such. So I am going to stay out of the way as much as I can. I will make sure I stay in contact and help where I can. They can call on me at any time to help out.
The week is moving along nicely. I am ready for the weekend, but I have two more days of work before tha happens.
My wife is up for a big promotion and raise. She can find out as soon as today if that will happen and when. I hope it will be announced today. My wife is a great employee and really deserves to get paid more and have the correct title for what she does. She will be very proud and I will be very proud of her. We will see.
I am going to go now. It’s time to write a few more things and then do my usual morning stuff. More later.
